We Care Perth Concert

With a lead time of two weeks, as site managers, we worked with a group of dedicated event professionals to pull together a concert to raise funds for the Yarloop bushfire victims – four stages, over 60 different acts, 400 production and entertainment crew – an amazing concert that was attended by 6000 people on a searing 40 degree day.

Master Plumbers and Gasfitters of WA and Master Painters and Decorators Australia

Managing a large event portfolio including trade shows, awards, gala balls, golf days and many other events, this client requires a range of skills to produce quality events for their sponsors and members of both Associations.

Bon Jovi and U2

Cassandra was the liaison between the local production managers and international touring production managers for both these events to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, providing consultancy for the international touring parties on all manner of elements and working with the production houses to keep communications flowing

Polo in the City

Perth and Sydney – Site manager for both these events with the Sydney event proving to be a huge logistical undertaking as the event was held at Centennial Park (who are governed by extraordinarily complex regulations). This included managing semi trailers, horse floats, 50 marquees and other elements in driving rain and boggy conditions.

BHP Billiton Ramble

The inaugural event held in 2011, Cassandra was the event director, building the event from a conception to an event that had 4500 people in teams racing through the streets of Perth to find clues and win prizes. The creation of forty individual checkpoints were developed and were successfully managed by Cassandra. The 2012 doubled the numbers due to the success of 2011.

Kids Big Gig

Working for the event producers as stage manager and consultant at Burswood Dome on a large scale event for children during school holidays. Included risk management, working with ride and sideshow operators to ensure compliance with regulations, customer relations and stage managing live performances.

Rockingham New Year’s Eve

Working with the event director (Happenings Events Management) for three years to produce a New Year’s Eve Concert and working with ride and side show operators. It also involved managing all on stage entertainment for the duration of each concert.

WA Mining Club

Apart from managing the entire event series including luncheons, a gala ball, two golf days and other events, we managed the St Barbara’s Day Parade down St George’s Terrace involving very large mining machinery driving or being transported down the Terrace. Logistically a difficult event to ensure that weight ratios were carefully monitored so as not to collapse the road into the myriad of tunnels that run under St George’s Terrace and ensuring the width of vehicles did not compromise any of the streetscape

Showtime at PMH 2012

Collaborating between the Royal Agricultural Society and Princess Margaret Hospital, this brand new event involved many logistical obstacles and health and safety concerns – animals, patients, risk of infections and accidents, show rides, food allergies and sensitivities, arrival of the Premier and Ministers, protocols, showbags……but the children who were too ill to go to the Royal Show had the show brought to them and it was a fabulous success
